⚠️ Important Rule Before You Begin
Before enabling call blocking, make sure your family members, friends, doctors, and pharmacy numbers are saved in your Contacts list. If a number is not saved in your contacts, your phone may send them directly to voicemail!
📱 For Apple iPhone Users
STEP 1
Open the Settings App
On your iPhone home screen, locate the Settings app.
- It looks like a gray icon with gears inside ⚙️.
- Tap the icon once to open it.
STEP 2
Tap on "Phone"
Scroll down through the menu until you see the Phone setting.
- It has a green square icon with a white telephone receiver 📞.
- Tap anywhere on that line.
STEP 3
Turn On "Silence Unknown Callers"
Scroll near the bottom and tap Silence Unknown Callers.
- Tap the toggle switch so it turns Green (ON).
- What this does: Any call from an unknown number will no longer ring out loud. It will go silently to your voicemail so you can check it later.
🤖 For Android Users (Samsung, Google, LG)
STEP 1
Open the Phone App
Go to your home screen and tap the main Phone app (the app you use to dial telephone numbers).
- It is usually a blue or green circle with a phone receiver icon.
STEP 2
Open Settings (Three Dots)
Look at the top right corner of your screen for three small vertical dots ⋮.
- Tap the three dots to open a drop-down menu.
- Tap Settings from the list.
STEP 3
Turn On Spam Protection
Look for an option named Caller ID & Spam (or "Block Numbers" on some Samsung models).
- Toggle Filter Spam Calls to ON.
- What this does: Your phone will automatically detect suspected scam telemarketers and block them from ever ringing your phone.
